Candice and Joel - Lovebirds

You might recognize Candice and Joel from an earlier post from their wedding...

We had tried to do an engagement shoot before their wedding, but something always seemed to come up and we had to post pone the engagement shoot. So, I'm going to call this shoot a "Love Bird" shoot!

I'm so glad that we were able to finally to have this session! We ended up having perfect weather and perfect colorful spots for pics.

Myrna - Bridal

I believe in fate, karma, soulmates - the whole 9 yards...
And that's probably one HUGE reason I found my path in the wedding industry...

All the stars aligned when I met Myrna and I truly believe us meeting was fate ... Funny story about how we met - she found me on The Knot and sent me an inquiry the same evening I was the featured photographer at Addison Event Center's taste testing. When she responded back that she was having her reception at Addison Event Center, I told her she HAD to come to the taste testing that evening and we could meet! ... Well, (like I said about stars aligning) her and Jorge had already RSVP'd to the event! . . . When she walked up to my booth, I knew it was her! She had this amazing vibe about her. Fun, confident and drop dead GORGEOUS!!!!

Ben and I photographed her wedding this weekend, so it's time to put up some from her BEAUTIFUL bridal session we did in late October.


Seriously? - can she be any more stunning?!...

Reminds me of old Hollywood... Timeless elegance and beauty...




And this is when I learned that Myrna is terrified of bees!!!! She must have smelled real purdy, because they couldn't get enough of her! We were able to snap a few shots here until the bees ran us off!

Liewehr Family

As I've said in my last few blog posts, I feel SO blessed for this amazing weather we have been having in November. I've lucked out in the weather department and the Photo Gods must be shining smiles on all DFW photogs lately!!!

I was honored to photograph the Liewehr family last Saturday morning. These little girls are precious. I mean, PRECIOUS!!! ... Even when Caroline pulled her big sissy's hair, Sophia still giggled... Let's hope those giggles continue through many more years of hair pulling!!!

Robin and Aaron - Engagement

Words can never describe a couple happy in love. There are so many emotions exploding from the joy of a new engagement, to the exciting chaos of wedding planning!

I love engagement sessions that really capture elements of a couple... Long story short, Robin and Aaron met on the lake, and spend many summer days on the boat. When we began brainstorming locations for their shoot, I immediately knew we had to do the lake... But our only fear was shooting an engagement session ... In November ... At the lake... It could end up a little chilly, and we did not want blue lips and goosebumps for their lake shoot! So we moved up the shoot and totally lucked out with the weather, it was literally perfect. We even got our feet wet in the water and barely flinched.
