Lauren and Blaine - engagements

As a girl, I think like a girl ... (well duh). My point is, for bridal sessions and MOST things weddings that's a great thing! ... When Lauren and I talked about her engagement session she said that Blaine had ONE request... NOTHING cheezy / aka - too girly. I started thinking - (possibly over analyzing) and was determined to make sure that there was nothing velveeta about this shoot!

Shannon and Ross - engagements

Shannon and I had never met before we did her and Ross's engagement session, but we hit it off immediately in our emails!... When we met, it just clicked and we had a great engagement shoot. I learned that her and Ross met one night in he event that he actually saved her from plummeting off a table! ... Her knight in shining armor so to say. They are a couple very much in love and I think it's obvious in every photo!

Here are some of the favs of the day:


Shannon and Ross are soccer players and when we brainstormed ideas for locations, we both agreed a soccer field was a great spot!




After we left the soccer fields, Shannon and Ross did a quick wardrobe change. Shannon looks H-O-T in that dress and boots!


We found some really great sculptures.

Thompson Family

The Thompson family is my second family... I'm serious! Stacie and I have been best friends since we were 3 - yes - THREE years old! So her parent's are like my second parents, which makes getting together for family photos an absolute party! It ended up getting chilly for their photo shoot. The November weather had been SO nice all month, so it had to end at some point... :( We switched up the shoot, going from shooting outside, then running into the comfort of the house to shoot, then back outside after we defrosted a little, and so on.

We always include the doggies, but this year was one less... A little prayer for Sydney. :(

Stacie and I always say, "God made us best friends because our parents' couldn't handle us as sisters!"

I love you family!!!

Meagher Family

T.J., Gentine, and Evie drove in from Houston to celebrate Thanksgiving and our "Black Friday" photo shoot! Gentine is Ben's cousin, and a few years ago, Ben was honored when he became Evie's Godfather. I was super excited about this shoot!!! We ended up having fantastic weather and it was a blast to include the WHOLE family!
